Dear God,

As your people, we come to you with a heart of gratitude and worship. Thank you for seeing us through all the dark holes and lifting us above the hurdles of the year 2021. It is by your mercy and grace that we were not consumed.

As we enter this new year, we pray that you strengthen us for the journey ahead, teaching us to walk with you and live each day in honor of your sacrifice on the cross. We pray for grace to be all that you have purposed for each of us to be and do this year. We ask that your righteousness reign supreme in our world and our hearts be enlightened by the beauty of your word. Turn hearts to you this year and let many people come to know the joy of your salvation.

Lord, we pray that peace permeates the world, as we hold on to your promise to never leave nor forsake us. Lead us in the path of total surrender and help us to grow in faith, love, and righteousness. Father, thank you for all you are and for loving us, even in our brokenness. We ask all these in the mighty name of our Savior, Jesus.
